last night the wireless router crapped out while i was moving things around. so today my dad bought a new apple airport which is good because i was so sick of the old router requiring me to reconnect all the time, and it also includes a audio port so i have it hooked up to my speakers and i can control it via itunes or my iphone using the remote application which is really cool

i can also attach my printer to it for wireless printing, soon i will add my microsoft exchange server to the network to wirelessly sync my email, contacts and calendar which is going to be awesome, i already installed a configuration profile to my iphone to support all the settings needed for microsoft exchange server

now im going to tidy up my room and have a shower, later!!

i was thinking today, that maybe i should move my blog to be soley on hyrxx.tv and have hyrxx.com as the community where all the blogs from the hyrxx network are displayed, basically the only thing that would change would be my blog would be accessable from hyrxx.tv rather than the blog link which currently links to http://hyrxx.com/blog, you would still be able to login to hyrxx.tv just like you can now

originally i planned on using hyrxx.tv as the domain for my online tv channel lux tv but i havent really posted anything on it in a while, so i think it would be better to use it as my blog, anyways im interested in what you think so PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT

btw i have also enabled catch all on my other domain so you can send me and email by putting anything infront of the @hyrxx.com and @hyrxx.tv >> eg. robbie@hyrxx.com omgimcool@hyrxx.tv imsostarstruck@hyrxx.com notrobbie@hyrxx.tv >>they all work and anything else does aswell hehe

Broken Computer Fixed

I didnt go to course today because i woke up late and i have hardly any money left on my metro card, so instead i chilled out on my computer, unfortunately it broke, and wouldnt boot up, it wouldnt even start the bios, the screen just showed nothing and all i could see was the leds light up, so i decided to find a soloution on the internet, turns out that this is a major problem with the computer i have hp pavillion tx1000 series (tx1219au) all the computers have a problem with the wireless card cutting out or breaking, which i used to get all the time, then the second stage of the problem is where the computer doesnt work at all and the screen is blank, the leds show, the fan turns on, and the hdd light flickers for a second and thats it, there was nothing i could do to fix it short of sending it back to hp to get the motherboard replaced, unfortunately my warranty ran out 3 months ago. READ: just about every other user with the exact same problem i had was also just a few months out of warranty, so i rang up hp insisting they replace my computer, however after speaking to 3 different people i could not talk to anyone higher, after realising they werent taking me seriously i decided to email the managing director for hp new zealand – keith watson. so i am awaiting the reply from that, after writing the email i continued to browse the posts about the hundreds of people affected by this problem, as i got towards the end, i found a soloution offered up by one person who suggested wrapping my laptop in a towel while running for 45 minutes, i was very skeptical of this but then more posts revealed that other users had success using this technique, so i tried it, and i was extremly happy when i saw that it worked once i had cooled it in the fridge for about 10 minutes,

i am unhappy that hp denied a problem with this series of laptops, idealy they should start a recall as this laptop is definately poorly designed, such that sometimes it can burn my legs when in normal operation, seriously i have had so many problems with this computer, luckily im so technologically minded, other people would have paid thousands for the problems i have fixed on this laptop,

after my computer was fixed i was on msn and remembered one of my freinds also had the same laptop as me and decided to ask him hows his was going, it just so happens that he already had the exact same problem. this proves this model is defective.

in other news, i fixed the problem where the blog tab wasnt working, i so happy it is now!!

Internet Lame-age

My internet died like a couple of days ago and i havent been able to access my shit for a while now which has been extremely boring and stressful, when i came back on i had a shitload of emails to sort through, the telstra clear guy was less than helpful in his attempts to connect the internet, showing me that it worked perfectly on his shitty old windows xp laptop, so i proceeded to make it work on my network which took like another hour.

so whats been happening the past few days???

i started polytech, – im actually there now lol, i have a thing at mcdonalds so the lady can see if im good enough to work there, so probably by tonight ill have a new job working at mcdonalds lol, and not a whole lot else has happened, oh and we also went to the lantern festival thing in victoria park on saturday which was nice, but freaking cold, ill put some pics up when i get home

thats all i can be fucked writing now so CHEECH BITCHES!!

Today i went to town after staying at aly’s with taine, then i went back home to freshen up cuz nobody was in town. then i went back to town and saw taine and aly again and then hung out with hana and co when aly and taine went to a movie, i also saw kane today and said hi lol. then i went home and then went to my mums for dinner

i also bought some socks when we went shopping today but they forgot to take the stupid security tag off it grr

i have work at 6 30 tomorrow so not really happy bout that but its all gud cuz im working with hannah so i hope its a bit more fun. i hope you liked the new t shirt i got, i love it, if you want to buy one send me an email

i will probs get them made in metallics when the supplier gets it all sorted, atm they are having issues with the metallic stuff going all crinkly

anyways thats all i can think of for today

Fun and town and bebo and etx

Today I went to class and had fun there doing some linux revision for the test next week, Then I went into town to meet Chris and co, and we all hung out ( I love everyone from town, I love you more if your from town and reading this!! <3 ), I went to the print shop and got a couple of pictures printed out on A3 paper and they look really awesome as small posters, I put them up on my wall, We also had chips on the bridge.

We walked past one of The Edge Road Runner cars and nobody was in there so i put a flyer for Hyrxx.com on their windowscreen, I hope they got it, if your the one that got it please email me ( just click on comments and use the form )

In other news, The Edge is running the next top friend competition, im rooting for patrick and raukura to win, they can win by getting lots of freinds on bebo and facebook (but dont use facebook) so please show you support and add them on bebo

Also if you’ve noticed on bebo on peoples profiles, in the boxes on the side bebo has made all the text into links and its extremely stupid and hasnt been coded properly leaving bits of url and shit, – just thought id let you know, im pretty sure i would think of a better soloution, feel free to contact me bebo

i have converted all the links into nice readable links such as http://hyrxx.com/posts/nice-links which will be the address to this post, and other pages have also been modifyed to include this theme, it also helps google to find the pages easilyer i have also fixed up a few minor things, and there is still a few bugs but nothing major

today was pretty cruisy i went to work and i think the people for my laptop called so i hope they call tomorrow when i can answer

they left a voice mail even though my message clearly states dont leave a msg bcuz i dont use voicemail

anyways i hope they have fixed it. using my ps3 sucks bcuz its running linux and all the support is fucked my tablet is way better because i have everything saved

I have received a message from Maitreya on Myspace, he has some real positive words for me and express’s his thanks for the promotion, he also mentions word of tours / shows in NZ in August and October, I’ll definitely be there to support him, and to promote him, its a great opportunity to see him live, I’ll definitely post details about it here so be sure to check back regularly, I’ve been allowed to put his album up so all the tracks are able to be played in the player at the top.

I’m impressed with the response I’ve been getting from upcoming artists, i now have 3 different artists playable on the flash player and over 20 different songs, make sure you listen!!; soon i will create some banners to put in the promotion slot to help create some more buzz to these artists websites,

So, I’ve made some mods to my applications to make them better to use

i added a mod to wordpress to allow me to post images from my gallery, so that will make posting easier, not that it isnt already it just means once i have uploaded to the gallery, i can put the image striaght into a post without uploading again, i wish they had a youtube one haha,
